What You Will Bring To The Team
Our team is resident focused and believes in a high level of attention to detail, professionalism and discretion. And as healthcare professionals, we also believe in lifelong learning and the ability to work under pressure. We value diverse backgrounds and what that brings to our team and we want to hear more about what makes you unique.
In addition to what makes you unique, there are a few basics that we require for this role:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior care home or healthcare facility
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Your Role In Helping Residents
While we all collaborate to provide care and hospitality to our residents, we all play different roles to make this happen. You’ll contribute by: As a Sous Chef in Senior Care Homes, you will be responsible for assisting the head chef in overseeing the food service operations, ensuring that high-quality meals are prepared and served to senior residents.
- You will also be responsible for supervising kitchen staff and ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- You contribute in a positive, caring and inclusive manner creating a team-based culture and providing exceptional,
- people-centered care and services to residents.
